From late May to late June, 140,000 irises of 412 different varieties bloom across this 3.8-hectare garden. Many varieties are featured in the garden including the Edo iris that was cultivated in Edo (present-day Tokyo), the Higo iris which was bred from the Edo iris, and the Ise iris that was cultivated in Ise-Matsuzaka.

Take a bus from Shioiri Station and walk 15 minutes from IKEGAMI J.H. School bus stop.
