The Taura Plum Grove is a famous viewing spot for plum blossoms and features about 2,000 trees. The grove was founded in 1934 with 700 trees planted in celebration of the birth of former Emperor Akihito. It is recognized as the only plum grove in the Miura Peninsula and encompasses an area of approximately 6,000 ㎡.
