Visitors will have the opportunity to view the many pillars on the platform repurposed from old rails from the 1800s and the station\u2019s beautiful wooden roof truss. The three tunnels that can be seen from Taura Station are called the Shikkama Tunnels. The center tunnel was constructed during the Meiji Period (1868-1912). The right tunnel was built during the Taisho Period (1912-1926), and the left tunnel was established during the Showa Period (1926-1989).\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yokosuka Station is a unique station with no stairs.
